Our Washington A1(M) Northbound hotel is located in between the thriving cities of Newcastle, Sunderland and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Durham, and is close to Old Washington Hall, the ancestral home of America's first president.
It's a short drive north to see the iconic Angel of the North or shop till you drop at the huge Metrocentre in Gateshead. Cross the Tyne for all the exciting attractions in Newcastle city centre.

This hotel does not have a Bar Cafè and is therefore unable to offer a cooked breakfast. Alternatively, guests can enjoy a breakfast to go option. Our new breakfast to go includes breakfast favourites cornflakes, orange juice and a pain au chocolat and now has an added oaty flapjack snack to keep you powered until lunch.
Please be aware that both the Northbound and Southbound Washington A1 hotels share the same postcode. When using a satnav, Northbound or Southbound will need to be specified.Â
