Our Amesbury Stonehenge hotel is in the heart of one of the country's most historic regions, just five miles from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge, and even closer to Woodhenge, an ancient monument made entirely from timber.
But the history doesn't stop there. In the town of Amesbury there's a statue in honour of a Bronze Age archer whose remains were discovered nearby, while a bit further out you can admire Britain's tallest spire at Salisbury Cathedral.
